One of the questions we’re asked most is also one of the most important: where does my money actually go? For a small organisation like ours, the honest answer is simple — straight to the dogs. Here’s what that looks like in real terms.
£5 — a week of food
Just £5 feeds a hungry street dog for a week. On our feeding rounds, that’s a full bowl of proper food every day, for a dog who would otherwise be surviving on scraps. It’s the most direct, immediate help you can give, and it’s where a huge part of our work begins.
£25 — protection and vaccination
£25 protects a dog with vaccinations and treatment against the parasites and disease that are rife among strays. A vaccinated, treated dog is a dog that can recover, be rehomed, and stop spreading illness to others nearby.
£95 — a life-changing surgery
£95 funds a spay or neuter surgery. This is the single most effective thing we can do, because one surgery doesn’t just help one dog — it prevents hundreds of future strays from being born into hardship. Our first organised spay and neuter campaign is launching soon in partnership with another rescue, and gifts at this level are reserved for it.
Where every pound goes
Across everything we do, your donations break down roughly like this:
- 50% — food and feeding rounds
- 35% — veterinary and medical care
- 15% — rescue and safe, legal transport
